Scope

What you get

Built for you

Every page is written for your project – no off-the-shelf theme, no plugins you never need. Only what your website actually does.

Performance

Pre-rendered pages, optimised images and fonts, minimal JavaScript. The goal: green Core Web Vitals on desktop and mobile.

SEO foundations

Clean page structure, meta data, structured data, sitemap and hreflang for multilingual sites – technically findable from day one.

Edit content yourself

Optionally connected to a CMS such as Payload CMS or WordPress: you change texts, images and pages yourself, no code required.

Multilingual

German, English or more – with localised URLs and a clean language switch, just like on this website.

Privacy-minded & accessible

No needless tracking, forms with spam protection, semantic HTML, keyboard navigation and sufficient contrast.

Architecture

Architecture that grows with you

One-pager or platform: under the surface sits the same solid foundation. Next.js renders pages ahead of time or on the server, an edge network delivers them fast, and content comes from a CMS or database. That way your website can later grow a shop, a customer area or AI features without being rebuilt. On the Experten platform one central CMS feeds several brand websites – the same principle works at small scale too.

  • Static where possible – server-rendered where needed
  • Headless CMS or database as the single source of data
  • Hosting on Vercel or your existing infrastructure
  • TypeScript throughout – fewer bugs, easier to maintain
From browser to database – every layer with a clear job
Performance

Performance as a feature

Slow pages cost visitors – and rankings. Google measures loading, responsiveness and visual stability as Core Web Vitals. To me these values aren’t an afterthought but a requirement: images in modern formats, fonts without layout shifts, JavaScript only where it’s needed. Heavy elements such as 3D scenes load only when they’re needed – just like on this website.

  • Targets: LCP under 2.5 s, INP under 200 ms, CLS under 0.1
  • Images in WebP/AVIF at the right sizes
  • Lighthouse check before every launch
  • Tested on real phones, not just on desktop

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Why not a site builder like Wix or a ready-made theme?

Site builders are quick to set up for simple pages but hit limits on design, speed and extensibility. A custom-built website loads only what it needs, looks exactly the way you want and can be extended deliberately later. I still use WordPress when it suits the project.

Where will my website be hosted?

Usually on Vercel – fast, reliable and made for Next.js. Alternatively on your existing infrastructure. I help with domain and hosting setup in every package.

Can the website be extended later?

Yes, that’s a core principle. New pages, languages, a shop or AI features can be added on the existing foundation. Small extensions are covered by the support extension; bigger ones get their own quote.

How soon will my website be live?

A one-page website usually in 2–3 weeks, a Professional website in 3–5 weeks – enough time for feedback, testing and polish. If it’s urgent, it can be faster by arrangement. Larger projects get a realistic timeline with the quote.
